GCH Horizon Gyre and Gimble "Gru"
GCH Horizon Gyre and Gimble "Gru" is a chocolate brown Lagotto Romagnolo and is highly intelligent, affectionate and versatile. Lagotti are very similar in temperament to shelties, inquisitive, gentle and charming. Lagotti are an ancient Italian breed that were originally bred with a water-resistant hypoallergenic coat for retrieving waterfowl. Today, with their extraordinary sense of smell, Lagotti excel at scentwork and are used to find wild truffles. Gru was owner handled to his AKC championship, and professionally handled to his Grand championship by Matt McMillan. He has a correct tightly curled coat, beautifully sculpted head and perfectly timed movement with impressive side gait. He is currently pursuing titles in FCAT, agility and dock diving.
